Citizen Grand Touring Sport NB1031-53L and Grand Touring NB0070-57E

Hello all, I am new to the forum as well as new to automatic watches. I've been researching some watches and have seen many I like. I can see how this can get addicting. However, I came across the Citizen Signature line of automatics. These two models caught my eye and I couldn't decide which to get, so....., I ended up getting both to see which one I really liked best. From what I read the Miyota 9010 movements they come with are good. I plan to use it as a daily wearer. I really like them both. The blue on the NB1031 is great and I love the orange minute hand. The NB0070 has a very nice rounded sapphire. The side profile really shows it off. I also really like the second hand and it's counterweight on both models.

Here are some pics. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. And thank you to a very nice and informative forum.

Both are nice and different on its own,but if I have to choose one,I pick the one with plain bezel since it has Panerai vibe yet not trying too hard like the numerous homages (and it's thinner than actual Pam too)

I like both very much. I have a signature grand classic with the same movement and accuracy is fantastic. Loses less than 2 seconds per day.

I voted for the Sport. It has a more interesting dial IMO, better executed date window, the extra minutes track mitigates the short hands, and overall it embraces its bold casual nature. The other watch looks more versatile with the black dial, until you realize that it's still a huge sports watch that won't fit under shirt cuffs easily and in general will look out of place in formal situations.

Blue dial hands down for me. Just more sporty which is what I tend to wear

I'd get the recently discontinued NB0075-11F instead. Downright the most worn watch for traveling overseas on holiday and the watch that got the most compliment. I actually started a conversation about this watch during holiday which led to opening a profitable business. It's badass. Having said that if you must get one of the 2 you mentioned, I'd go for the intended usage. For usage in water sport then the blue dial one. For casual with a strap the original may be more suitable for any occassion.
