It?s been a while! I?ve been quite satisfied with my collection of watches, but I started to get the itch again.
I took a look at my collection and noticed something is missing; a watch with a black or dark grey case with a black or dark grey bezel, classic field design or dive style, with a dark brown leather strap.
I found one from Shinola that I really like, but I am in no position to spend as much as they cost! I?m hoping you can help me out!
Here is what I?m looking for:
Style: Classic field or dive
Case: Metal, Black or dark grey/gunmetal in color
Dial: Black or dark grey/gunmetal
Strap: Brown leather, or the ability to put a brown leather strap on it
Movement: Solar quartz or automatic, but I will consider regular battery quartz for the right watch
Size: I have medium to large wrists, so nothing super small or really huge
Use: I plan on wearing this watch as an everyday beater and work watch (office, business casual), but I would also like it to be able to withstand some moderate abuse like range time, hiking, hunting, and occasional field police work.
Price: 175 USD is the very highest I can go, but lower is better as I?m trying to save for a house. If I need to purchase a brown strap to go with it, then that will be included in my limit.
I really appreciate any help you can provide! I have turned to the forum in the past for help, and I?ve always received awesome and trustworthy advice!
