    classy watch with roman numerals

hey all, I lurk more than post, but have been on the search for my perfect dressy watch for a while and hope you may help out. I am looking for a classy watch with silver case, white face and roman numerals. Tissot Le Locle is my favorite. I also saw this Rotary which I like the looks of, but its a light gold which I don't care for http://www.worldofwatches.com/detail...ance_id=75636# .

Please post up some suggestions, looking to stay within the Le Locle price range. TIA!

Stowa Marine Original Roman with lacquered face and blued hands.

    Just stunning.

Price might be a little north of what you want, but this is a wonderful timepiece.

I was actually staring at that one about 20 min before I started this thread. I do love the styling of the Stowa, but as you said, a little north of where I want to be. If I were to bump higher that would be it though.

    Mido Baroncelli M3880 -

Lovely Peseux 7001 handwind caliber, great watch (image isn't mine). I'd go with this one or the Stowa MO. Woops, sorry didn't see the price ceiling you'd imposed. You can get this Mido Baroncelli (M8600.4.26.8) for about $500 to $550 after discount -

Image is borrowed from member "resipsa99". You could probably contact him for details about the watch.

Mike's suggestion is great too ... a silver case is pretty rare and that Vickers is a very classy looking timepiece.

Silver cases aren't that wide spread, stainless steel cases are.

What about that rare thing ?

    Kind regards

    Make that three!

ps Interesting to note how the Roman numerals on the bottom half of the dial may be arranged with either orientation.

If you're looking for something that costs even less, this might be a decent option -
    Orient CFDAC004W -

    Or, an Orient CFDAC004B -

    Borrowed images, of course.

Frederique Constant makes several dress watches I like.
Although sold out here, I suspect you could easily find one in the $500-700 range. I'm not really clear on what price range Le Locle falls.
