me: why are u selling a fake for so much?

her: Huh? I got this as a gift and wore it for a while... It was too big and heavy so I listed it at $199... Don't know much about watches.

back to our regular schedule of rolex bashing :)

In this case, seller knowingly wants to profit from it (if she didn't know, she knows now), and bidders who bid it up so much have no idea what they're buying.

The lesson for me in this case is that 100% positive feedback does not equal "watch is not fake".

I've reported it so hopefully it'll be taken down soon.

Floors me to think that people willingly bid so much without doing some basic research! (Heck even google would have been enough)

Anyone with the internet know-how to list an item on ebay also has the skill set to google 'Patek Philippe Sky Moon' which would tell her all he/she needs to know that that watch is fake. he/she knows what they're doing.

I thought the Bremont bashing was more fun, but Bremont threads don't have the same longevity as a Rolex thread unfortunately :(

Especially when the feedback is mainly as a purchaser as she's only sold six items, and not one item was even a watch to begin with. Also, average price of items sold is $20.

I doubt that the picture she posted is even the pic of the actual seller, lol.
