    Cool beans!

Well look at that ladies and gents, I found myself my first ever Timex automatic and it's in NOS condition. Accurate so far as well. The old strap that's been bouncing around from watch to watch is perfectly suited for this watch so on it stays (I swap a lot until the strap finds that home).

It's a typical find, thrift store for $3 and it's a Great Britain piece which for me is a plus. Haven't seen the inside but I'm not expecting much considering how boing boing sounding the balance wheel action is

Yeah yeah, I'm a grandfather who still likes playing with toys :-D

    Peace,
    Preston

Ahh, Preston's magic thrift store strikes again. Really nice find, and will all the class of a Calatrava and them some!
Perfect match to an R-5 receiving full stereo signal ;)

Thanks Domo, that's a heady watch to compare it to. The R 5? that's another thrift store find from this weekend, posted about it in the Cafe forum if you're interested.

    Peace,

You gotta love a good deal! Looks good and you're right, the strap is at "home" too.
