    Corum or Maurice LaCroix

Hi guys, so I'm deciding between these two watches: ADMIRAL'S CUP LEGEND 42 | CORUM - Official Website
and this one Watch : Masterpiece Squelette Tradition | Maurice Lacroix .
They both look great to me, but I'm wondering which on of the two has a better value? That is which one would depreciate at a lower rate and has higher resell value? Thanks guys.

The Corum has an ETA 2892 and costs $5,000. The same movement as in a Hamilton Intra-matic that costs about $600 (and a good looking watch in my mind.)

The MLC uses a manufacture movement made in-house at Maurice LaCroix.

Edit: Domo correctly pointed out that this particular model uses a Unitas movement, not an in-house manufacture one like the later Masterpiece series.

Aesthetics wise, using a black date wheel on a blue dial just rubs me the wrong way. It's like they got lazy and said, "Should we could use a blue matching date wheel that would really mesh with the watch. Nah, lets just use the leftover ones from the black dial." And putting little signal flags on the chapter ring does not make it a "nautical" watch in any way, shape, or form.

I personally can't tell accurate time on the ML, can you?

That particular Maurice Lacroix is a fairly old model from before their manufacture ramped up, and is a skeletonised and decorated Unitas 6497. Their new design skeleton with the in-house ML 134 is a much nicer looking watch IMO.

Just from aesthetics, I'd take the Corum.

Of the 2 you have pictured Corum but ONLY for the legibility of the dial. But I would check in2 another model of the ML.Theys days they're using in house mvmnts & such an underrated brand w/ WIS's & I have no Idea why. It's a great manufacturer w/ a great selection.
    I own a ML (older 1 ) & it's 1 of the most accurate timepieces I own.

I think I'll go with the Corum because it's more versatile than a skeleton.

I saw the Corum and immediately thought, "Well, my vote will be for the ML." Then I saw the ML.

Neither is my style, but I think the Corum is the more attractive watch.
