    Dan's the Man...

Arrived today: Dan Henry 1963, 42.5mm. Originally bought the 1964 but at 38mm, it was too small for me. DH was nice enough to swap it out and refund me the $20 difference. Sent with 2 straps, including a black fabric one, but I really like it on the tan belting leather strap.

I have the version with a steel bezel. I have had numerous compliments, more than I ever have had wearing a Rolex or Omega. It’s a very nice looking watch, enjoy yours!

Thanks. I had a hard decision, as I liked both bezels, but had several watches already with steel ones. Here's what yours looks like:

    Love that vintage style!

I'm getting more and more tempted every time you post a DH.

    That's a great looking watch.

I wondered why there is an SR71 engraved on the back...googling...www.watchunter.org says: "We are not finished yet… turning the Dan Henry 1963 Chronograph over shows a wonderful and deep engraving on the back of the world famous Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. This is not some random accident because this record-busting spy plane had its first flight in 1964…"

Not bad, but because the indices are slim, it doesn't jump out ar you.

I have the steel version. It's my wife's favorite watch in my collection -- she hates all the black divers with rotating bezels. Such is life.

It's great to hear about excellent customer service from Dan Henry.
