    Decision time – Your Thoughts?

So I am in the process of pre-ordering this:

    Name: Nomos-Orion-Midnight-4.jpg

Size: 143.7 KB

Stunning blue dial, in house movement, 38 mm size, unique, and excellent overall value proposition IMO

For the first time, tried on NOMOS today at a different, local AD...

    35 mm:

    38 mm:

Pics can be deceiving, and in reality the difference in lug to lug measurement between 35 mm version and 38 mm version is only a few mm – But what a difference a few mm makes… To my delight, the 38 mm actually fits! Keep in mind the strap is much too long, and is not snug... What do you guys think based on these photos? Does the 38 mm look good on my 6.75 inch wrist? Or will the 38 mm not work due to long lugs?

    Thanks!

To me the 35mm looks a bit better, but watches always look bigger in pictures. The pic makes the L2L look huge on that 38mm...
Encourage someone. The world has enough critics.

My standard is that if the lugs hang over it's too big, the 35mm looks better on you in my humble opinion.

Personally, I agree that the 35mm looks like a better fit (at least in the pics). Sometimes it's hard to tell, but did you notice any difference in comfort? It looks like the 35mm sits a little easier, and sometimes that translates to a much "comfier" watch as the day goes on.

Another vote for the 35mm; to my eye the lugs on the 38 make it look like it "overflows" your wrist.

I like the 35mm. IMO dressier watches look better if they don't dominate the wrist.

35 mm is better, Orion wears larger than dimensions suggest.

The thin bezel of the Nomos will make the 35mm wear more like a 36mm or 37mm imho. Plus, I think a dress watch should be smaller than a sport watch. My vote is for the 35mm. But again, photos can be deceiving. Get what you like, it only hurts once!

i'm in the 35mm camp as well, but it really doesn't matter. i'd love to have that blue at the cost of larger size lugs

To me, the 38mm looks great on that last angle. But, I do prefer larger watches.
