deep blue or Christoper ward ?

i put a post up a week ago asking for ideas on my next watch . i was give some good ideas but i really took a liking to the Deep Blue Daynight 65 T-100 Automatic – 65 Tritium Tubes Blue Dial and the Christopher ward C60 TRIDENT AUTOMATIC - BLUE BEZEL. i really don't know which one to go for . i feel im edging towards the C.Ward . is there anything to take into consideration or any other option to look at. i do plan on going diving in the watch

I have the C Ward and I love it. However, I don't dive (or haven't yet).

I have to say that the lume on the Trident isn't amazing. I suspect that the Deep Blue would be the clear winner in that particular contest. However, the Trident is a great watch for the money.

I would go with the CW diver - it is far more classy and traditional looking - although I hate the trident second hand - it's too gimmicky.

The Deep Blue is more of a robust tool diver look, obviously with awesome lume - but just too big and cumbersome looking.

BUT if you are a real diver - and not a desk diver like most of us here - it's probably the Deep Blue you should get.

Deep Blue, I like the design and the lume looks nice.
The C. Ward looks like a Rolex hommage (as stated on their own website )

I have a Trident. It's a nice watch. I've never seen a Deep Blue in person.
The Deep Blue is a BIG watch, that I know from the specs.
Do you want and can you wear that BIG a watch?

I would go with the Christopher Ward every time. What killed Deep Blue for me was flipping the channels and seeing the same cheese balls selling Invicta on shopnbc selling Deep Blue. Pass.

They're also two very different watches in terms of size. DB is 45mm and CW is 42. I've seen pics of the DB and it wears a lot bigger than that 45, as well.

edit: that was misleading, I thought you meant a sale on deep blue! Not CW.
