Dial deterioration with early version Breitling Montbrillant models?

I've recently been looking into Breitling Montbrillant models and came across a model that, on first glance, I really liked. It's the A30030.2 / A30030.4 version without a date that was produced between 1996 and 1998. However, after searching around on the internet, a noticed an alarming amount of used examples that exhibit a "burning" affect on the dial. This is especially noticeable on the all white versions, but it also seems to happen on the black dial versions too. Is this a known issue? What causes this? Have any owners experienced it?

Have you gone here to ask?

Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none.
