In general, I'm not someone who babies his watches overly much. They are meant to be worn and some dings and scratches on watch or bracelet are just what happens.
It's different though when it happens while I'm not wearing the watch regularly, but when I'm e.g. placing it on a hard surface to take a photo. For some reason I just don't learn this. I have several watches with small scratches on the case flank opposite the crown from taking photos like this one..
The watch slipped a little, and the old slag brick left its marks on the case. Not deep at all, but noticeable and annoying because I know it could have been avoided. I should have known what was coming.
Do you have similar experiences, that some scratches or dings bother you far more than others?
