I keep the correct date on my everyday watch, but on my Turtle, that I only use occasionally, I don't bother.

    +1

Not sure how a few people are doing all of this in "5-10 seconds"

I'm not sure either. It takes me ages (maybe 5 minutes) to change the date if it's weeks behind. Not easy on the fingers.

I have fifty watches in active rotation and set the date only on quartz and mechanicals with quick-set dates.

This means my Vostoks rarely, if ever, show the correct date.

50 watches.... wow! Your fingers must be heavily calloused by now ;)

Literally it just took me less than a minute to set the day, date and time on my 4r36 monster, it was not running and had stopped on the 28th of the month, so yes it took seconds to set the watch.

Yes i set the date on all my watches. It's not that difficult and less annoying than looking at a watch with the wrong date.

I always do but I doubt that I’ll be buying many more watches with <40 PR so this will eventually eliminate much of the problem in my rotation.

Definitely change the date. I absolutely hate when watches dont have a quick date set feature and you have to go through 10+ days to get the date correct. What a pain!

Re: Do you bother changing the date on your analogue watches?

I don't bother to change the date, day, month, moonphase, etc., on any of my watches. I just set the time and go!!!
