Do you have a Stuhrling Original?

Seems like there is a lot of mixed reactions to the brand Stuhrling Original on the forums. I six in my collection and they all see wrist time in my rotation. I also have another one coming this week :) Of the 22 watches in my collection, I would say that the Stuhrling's get an equal amount of wrist time along with the Avi-8, Deep Blue, Android and XOSkeleton.
My attraction for the brand Stuhrling Original began Christmas of 2004. My mother-in-law gave me a simple, blue dress watch.

She was then kind to gift me two more over next few years. I also added several.

For awhile I wasn't really digging them as I was bitten with the Invicta bug. After I had several issues with the Invicta's I started to turn back to the Stuhrling's. As they got more and more wrist time, I started to appreciate them more.
I noticed that they have very nice finish and detail. They use decent movements, nothing extravagant but nothing that is considered horrid. For the price point, Stuhrling Original creates a very nice watch. I wouldn't pay more than a couple hundred for any of there watches. My preference is Stuhrling over Invicta because of quality, style, slightly more honest pricing. Comparing my Stuhrling's to the other watches in my collection, I would say that they are along the same build as an Android and Avi-8. Invicta, Swiss Legend and Rotary are below both of them. I believe that my Seiko 5 and Deep Blue are the only two watches that are superior to the Stuhrling's. The XOSkeleton is on par or maybe slightly better even though it is not a huge gap.
So my questions to you fine folks is, do you like Stuhrling Original? Why or why not? Which would you prefer, Stuhrling Original,Invicta or Android? Also, do you have any Stuhrling family pictures to share?

Sorryy unable to get pictures to post, will use tapatalk in a moment to send pics. Sorry about that.

dbsylvia you have quite the collection there of Stuhrling watches and some are cool looking like the diver with the Pepsi bezel and the orange one. I have never own one or even took the time to try one on. So I cannot comment much on them besides I have seen them on shopping networks, discount websites, and even at some discount retailers as well. From what I have noticed they do produce a lot of models giving many options within the affordable market. I wonder if they stretch the truth to some degree to grab new customers, they do state on their website that they have been around since the 1800's? By the way I owned an Invicta Lupah once and it was a good watch, it never gave me any problems.

It's just another fashion brand with advertising that tends to bend the truth and sometimes flat out lie about their history and origins... I'd stick to the Seikos and Deep Blues, much more interesting and original IMO... Hate to say it, but you're not going to find a lot of love for Stuhrling on these forums, same goes for Invicta...

Stuhrling are alright. It's one of those brands that you just have to watch what you buy. The movement is usually chinese meaning so repairmen won't even take the time to service them. Same with Invicta and Android as long as you are aware of what your buying you usually won't have a single problem. But for me I'd rather spend the money on a Seiko then you know you have something dependable.

I think that the history may be slightly exaggerated but not enough to bother me. I also have an Invicta Lupah and it is one of the rare few that haven't caused issues. It get's occasional wrist time.
