Which do you prefer: inner or outer rotating bezels?

I prefer outer ones, as they look cooler, and are quicker to deploy.

Outer. Less likely to break and when they do you don't need to open up the watch to deal with it.

Also prefer my rotating bezels on the outside. They're not only easier to turn (no futzing w/a relatively tiny crown), but also generally more legible.

I prefer outer bezels, less likely to break (my feeling, no facts to back up), more legible and robust looking.

Functionally, outer bezels are far superior in my mind. I recently tried on a JLC Polaris and the crown that turned the inner bezel didn't lock, meaning the bezel could move accidentally. Those that lock suffer from the issue of having to unscrew the crown when you need the bezel, an annoyance.

Optically, I admit that I'm a sucker for the supercompressor style of having a crown at 2 and 4.

    Pass on both.

Inner rotating bezel is generally a deal breaker for me. The dual crowns are a bigger issue than the bezel itself. I don’t have a good reason for it. Just a preference.

I've started to prefer watches without clicky bezels, I don't mind the ones which are geared. It's one less thing to be misaligned at the factory.

Prefer outer bezels myself. Though I do think the inner bezel on my old Seiko Pogue chronograph is pretty cool.
