Do you use your rotating bezel?

Having only recently got a watch (well, three actually) with a rotating bezel, I was surprised to find that I actually use it quite a lot. A simple elapsed time measurement using the bezel is easier than faffing with a stopwatch or countdown timer as I used to do with the various Digitals in my life.

    How about you?

I have a GMT, so I move the bezel to keep track of the local time when I travel, so that I can keep the main time synced to the time at home in Sydney.

When I'm in SYD, I change the bezel so that my GMT hand keeps track of EST in North America, as I communicate with people in that time zone the most.

This question gets asked over and over on here. Maybe I should use my rotating bezel to time until this question gets asked again.

Re: Do you use your rotating bezel?

I used to do parking meters and set it to allocate certain parts of an hour per question during exams.

Not really necessary, but it was there.

I was happy to set it to something, as the bezel on my Planet Ocean was misaligned and it really annoyed me at 12 o clock.

Sadly never. Only time the bezel is rotated is after purchase to make sure it's functional and never after that.

Pretty often, time food, how long it takes to get somewhere, etc... Sometimes just for fun to feel the quality of a watch.
    I have a problem.

Probably one of the best uses for it for the average wearer!
