does anybody else hide away their quartz?

    Hey everyone
So 6 or 7 years ago i purchased a TAG Aquaracer quartz (yes rookie mistake) , it wasn't really EXACTLY what i wanted, but money was a bit of an issue, as it always is, but i bought it anyway and have loved it for a long time. In the last 4 years or so i have become a fan of automatics, and much more interested in the mechanical side of watchmaking, and i just don't enjoy wearing the TAG as much anymore, esp since my collection has grown in the last year or so. It's tough, very versatile and i'd never sell it, but it doesn't give me the same buzz that it once did. Honestly I think I probably enjoy wearing my seiko 5 military more than the TAG these days. I now have 4 autos, 1 winder and 1 quartz, and the quartz barely gets worn. Anybody else ever felt this way about their quartz watches?

Heck no. I love my quartz watches and wear them often. 99.9% of the time, only you will know you are wearing a quartz.

No I don't hide them. But since I got this I am having a tough time wearing anything else. Even the other mechanicals.

They are all equally worn (and loved), otherwise I wouldn't buy them!

I love them all. My collection is split about 50/50...There is something to be said about the engineering that goes into a finely built mechanocal, but there is also a lot to be said about the high technoly that goes into a quartz watch that can stay acurate to just a couple of seconds per year, or a quartz watch that has so many gadgets built into it that you have to have a hundred page manual just to understand it and it even fits nicely on your wrist...
