Does anyone own one of those Devon Tred watches ?

I find them so intriguing but could never see myself spending that much on such a non-traditional watch.
There is a Youtube Video out there of someone demonstrating it and the watch truly is awesome.

I know someone that has one. Really amazing, but too big and silly expensive. They have updated the line to include the Tread2, which is now too small and... silly expensive. And no longer shows the seconds, which is a mistake. For $15k, all that technology should be able to do more than tell the time.

I agree, for this type of novelty i believe the price should be in the 3k-5k range tops. If it was im sure quite a few of us would grab one. Since it is mainly a super smart computer chip controlling the watch maybe with time the tech will get cheap like computers? ..... one could dream i guess..

Very cool watch but 17K for a battery power watch...? I'll bite if it is about 3k.

I think an iWatch has more novelty.
