I once saw a photo of a Rolex Yachtmaster rhodium dial with a light blue rubber strap and it looked AMAZING. The hands and text matched perfectly and it was a real stunner.
I got one with a pack of watch straps from WatchGecko. Still not been on a watch.
I did get a bright red one though, and that worked surprisingly well.
I was gifted a blue strap some years ago. Have yet to find a watch that goes with it or a watch buddy who would like to have it. It's probably headed to "pay it forward."
Light-colored bands get dirty faster and can be hard to clean, so I shy away from them. If it's rubber then it should be no problem and if it fits the watch for you, then go for it.
Haha I really feel this question. Light blue straps look SO good on the website, but I dunno on my wrist? I got an aqua crocodile grain number from strapsco but was really unsure about it as I put it on my wrist, then I discovered it was defective (missing a keeper) so it got returned. I'll probably spring for a light blue and white nato one of these days to try the look at an approachable price.
