    Does this exist?

Dear experts, afficiandos, watch lovers and etc at wus,

I have a Ball Marvelight which i wear once in a while in addition to my other watches. I am a sucker for tritium lights and it really amazes me. I would love to wear it everyday, but it is so thick, I have a tendency of knocking it and therefore I am wearing my Seiko 5's metal bracelet watch as a daily beater and the ball on weekends. As I go swimming during lunch hour, therefore i need a watch to keep time, and all my other leather strap watches won't do. I will not wear g shocks as i work in a corporate environment and I find it out of place.

So my query now is as follow:

I am looking for an automatic, stainless steel bracelet, tritium watch which is below USD250.

I have been searching for a while and I've only found the MWC which is closest to the price range and I've read many non favorable reviews, therefore I am still searching.

I would prefer to have it in a divers design as I currently do not have a divers in my watchbox, i do not mind other designs as well.

You time to read this post and postulate your view is gladly appreciated.

    Thank you.

I have spoken personally with the Luminox guys when they were in town during the Defense Service Asia a few months back. And according to them, tritium vials are very expensive to manufacture (around 5 dollars per vial). To get a tritium Swiss made watch for less than $250 is impossible even if you make the watch yourself and set the vials on the dial by yourself.

we are talking about 75$ tritium and 5$ the rest of the watch?

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Ostensibly less if they're selling at a profit.

Your best bet MIGHT be a used Deep Blue. Still more than $250 but maybe about as close as you'll get.

"vial" is not one little itty bitty hour marker.... "vial" is a longer piece, every $5 can build maybe 2 dials with hour, minute and second hand markers.

why not wear a nice leather band watch to work and have a swimming beater tucked in with your swim trunks and goggles. as to the Chinese watch and WR--the 200m is most likely 20 microns deep.
