    Down to 1...oops.

I posted a few days ago how I planned on getting down to just 2 watches https://forums.watchuseek.com/f2/end-...ng-964367.html Which I did. I have sold everything except my Orange monster, and Citizens Nighthawk....BUT someone offered me a fair amount for the the Nighthawk, so down to one I will be.

Which is where my fine friends at WUS come in. I just can't get excited about the search, the hunt, the find, like I used to. So help me out. I DO want one more watch. A quartz/eco/solar whatever. I want it to be a everyday watch. Accurate, good looking, more upscale then your average joe, and no more then about $750.00. Once I have this watch, my goal is to spend the rest of the year NOT buying watches for me. Oh I still may buy a few here and there to flip and make some pocket change, but for me, I want to see if I can be happy with the 2.

    Thanks for the advice folks.

    Edit!

Pulled the Trigger on a Citizens Perpetual Chrono Atomic. Pic below!

I like the nighthawk worldtimer eco drive. And it may even have atomic sync.

    I also like Suunto

You could just keep the money and live with only a monster for a while :D .
Anyway, you can buy an affordable G-Shock for 1/10 of the money.

I like the idea of a Atomic watch. Was not even thinking about that until you brought it up!

Why don't you look at the Citizen Signature series? I see them for sale here every now and then.

I know you talked about it but I never expected you to take the nasty medicine so soon. Now that you've taken the plunge so to speak why not just stick at one?

How about the oceanus by casio. Atomic, solar, titanium, sapphire with AR coating on the inside, lightweight, waterproof, and not too busy of a dial. Around $600.

    I highly recommend the GW-5000.

Atomic sync up to 6 locations world-wide
DLC all stainless steel screwback case
    Softer and flexible resin strap
Wear it to hell, then simply replace the resin bezel so it looks like new again.

If I had only one watch, this would be it -- seriously.

I'm going to suggest the Boschett Ocean Mariner. Can be had for under 600, waterproof, automatic and I hear the customer service is excellent.

I love automatics. Always will. The Orange Monster has a special place for me, because it was my first mini grail. I plan on keeping it, just because. However, I really do need something that has better time keeping ability that I can "set and go". the monster averages +5 -12 a day which is right in it's wheelhouse. But I am still anal retentive enough to be resetting it every couple of days. With out the Hack feature, that can get to be a pain in the ass. So it will become more of a weekend watch.

Which still leaves me in a lurch. Find something that will keep me happy for the rest of the year. I had thought about a Seiko Astron, but I just don't want to spend that much. I took the proceeds from all of my sales, a decent amount, put $750 in a watch fund, and the rest in a rainy day fund.
