I have no idea. I was speaking from a purely visual perspective. I just thought it was purty.
Guys, I really really really do understand that there was a hack and that my password was reset, but I'm about to take a year off from WUS if you can't stop telling me about it every time I log in. With my password. That you reset.

Some of the Royal Orient models might fit the bill

    to each is own..
the zurich has won several styling awards in these past years and from what i have seen nomos has gained a substantial following due to their simplicity, inhouse movement and overall value.
zenith on the other hand is from what i have read is know for their el primero movement...what about the elite's movement? how does it compare?

Mmm. Dangerous words around these parts. If only out of horological interest, you might find that some of Seiko's lesser known offerings are among the best in the watch world. I would agree however that Seiko doesn't really have an offering that meets your criteria. The SARB071 (posted above) is a beautiful watch, which I own, but it's likely at least a tier below the Nomos and the Zenith. I would go with the Zenith in your position.

why is seiko so popular these days?
i understand they have awesome movements but u just cant bring myself to buy one.
how would you compare the zenith to a Glashutte original senator hand date model #
    39-58-01-02-04
    ?
i know the omega aqua terra railmaster is a bit larger at 42mm but would that be comparable to the zenith?
