Dressing down a dress watch for the summer...

Hi all - summer is here! Family vacation is coming up, no beach this time but were fortunate enough to travel around Europe to enjoy the beautiful countries and their culture and of course the food

So, I would like to bring my automatic watch with GMT functionality so I can keep track the time back home. The only one the I have currently, is the B&M Classima GMT. As you can see, its a pretty nice dress watch and looks pretty serious according to the pictures below...

Technically, one would say, that the watch can be worn in any occasion but as a WIS I think I should change the look a bit to make it more fun to wear daily in the summer with shorts and sandals

Looking at the straps collection that I have, I found the Panatime Rios Sienna to be the perfect fit for the job. The white stitching complement the white dial and the smoky brown color makes the watch ready for fun in the summer.

Have you ever dress down your dress watch?
What do you all think of the new look?

Please do share the timepiece you'll bring for this summer vacation.
After all we do love pictures

    Cheers.

I second the Perlon. Make mine a double-Perlon from Clockwork Synergy.

How about a metal mesh bracelet? I used to think it was for Skagen and fashion watches, now I bought one and found it to be perfect for summer.

Not to mention you can fine-tune the length easily.

Definitely another good option. Farer makes a good quality reasonably priced one.

Changed the alligator strap with a vintage style calf leather one on my patrimony.

No picture, but I've recently seen a JLC Reverso Tribute on a bright green (lizard?) strap on a casually dressed (shorts and t-shirts) young fellow at a burger festival. It looked fantastic. Just the right amount of eye-catching, fresh, yet not gaudy or flashy.

OP: your new strap looks great and it does dress things down a bit. Great pics too. Thanks for posting!
