    Dropped my Fortis Spacematic

    Hey Guys

I have a Fortis Spacematic - couple of months old. From the day I got it it was 15 sec fast every day consistently. I have not been keep accurate eye on it the last couple of weeks, but it seemed to slow down to maybe +12s or so per 24 hour - resting position didn't make a difference. So all in all - very consistant.

Couple of days ago I accidently dropped it from maybe 1,5 meters to a hard floor - every thing seems to work proberly, but it seems to have slowed to about something like +1s per 24 hours.

Now should I be worried, or is it just lucky??

    Best regards

    DankoJones

I would still have your watch serviced, although no damage seems to of been done.

I would just keep track of the timing as you already are, and if nothing seems out of sorts I would not worry about it.

Allright - I'll keep it under observation for a couple of weeks and see what happens.

Wow - that's the luckiest watch accident I've ever heard. If it keeps running, it's fine I suppose.

Since you're worried, I would take it over to the local watchmaker and have him take a look to make sure.

While the result has seemingly been good, I would still look to getting it checked over to see what may have happened to cause the timekeeping to change so much...

try dropping it 1 more time, maybe it will be dead on accurate 0 -/+

    JK don't.

It's possible that if you get it serviced, it won't be as accurate as it is now!
