    Dumb question perhaps

Ok, this might be a dumb question, but are Panerai watch bands different than standard? I ask because I see a LOT of them listed as Panerai straps.

They are generally larger than standard bands, say 24 or 26mm and have bold tang buckles.

Ah, but they'll still fit fine as long as the size is correct, right?

IF the lug width is correct, the strap will fit between the lugs. You'll need to be careful about the buckle width though - most straps made for Panerai have HUGE buckles.

i think that panerai style straps are straps that do not taper that's why the buckle size is so large
    lug width=buckle width
