Ebay question (Swiss Army Maverick Chrono)

Hello everyone, long-time reader here and happy to post for the first time.

I'm looking to buy the Swiss Army Maverick II Chrono watch, brand new, which retails at $550. I've never bought a watch on Ebay before and so I was hoping to run this by the experts here before I go for it. Most sellers on Ebay have it in the $350-$410 range, but I've found a couple of sellers selling it for $240 and $300 (Buy It Now). Both are power sellers, with 20,000+ ratings and around 99.5% positive ratings... brand new, with warranty, and shipping from the U.S.

Everything seems right to me, but I'm just a little bit cautious because it's considerably cheaper than the other sellers. Any reason to be concerned?

    Really appreciate it, thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you've just found yourself a couple of bargains there. You should be ok as long as there's a refund policy offered. Anyway, good luck!

with those ratings and percentages I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Hey, thanks so much to the both of you.

It turns out that these two items are both for the discontinued version of the watch, according to Victorinox's website. The pictures look basically the same. The old model has titanium case and bracelet, whereas the new model has aluminum/steel case and steel bracelet.

Pretty confused about what to do now... both because it's discontinued, and because it's titanium vs. steel.
