I have stumbled across someone selling the following watch and it's one of those "too good to be true" prices. either he has no clue what he has, it's a blatant fake or he is beyond desperate for quick cash.
Here are some photos sent to me. He claims they are all he has on his laptop as he is working away from home and could provide more when he returns. If purchased it would be a face to face transaction but a 5 hour return drive for me to do so. Given that, am I already wasting my time with this? I am completely unfamiliar with this watch and frankly I would have no interest in it beyond the potential price and it would become an immediately catch and release. I just don't want to waste 6 hours to come into a fake watch.
The photos are not good, the caseback is blurry and he has nothing of the movement at this time. If there are signs it's an obvious fake then I can stop wasting any more time. Option 2 is wait a week for him to return and get more/better photos.
Thanks for any help people can provide.
