    ETA 2824 date question

    Hello!
I have a noob question about my 2824 in my Tissot Le Locle.
Somethimes when I push back the crown from the second position (hacking) the date jumps half a turn, getting stuck between two numbers. Then I have to adjust the date manually to be correct.
    Otherwise the watch works fine.

    Thanks!

    There's no question...

I guess you're asking if the date should be wiggling like that? If you're carefully pushing only in, with no rotation, then it shouldn't be happening. But, it can be difficult to push the crown straight in, and a little wiggling of the date or time can definitely result if you're not careful.

Yes.. I meant "problem", sorry. I think it's normal for this to happen if you push harder on the crown, but I wanted to hear others opinion/experience about this.

Oooh....The phrase "push harder".....It's all relative, Brother...Don't push hard.......
That could lead to a problem.

    Re: ETA 2824 date question

I have had some 2824's that do "wiggle" a bit on the date if I apply too much force to the crown or turn too quickly, but if you are careful with your pressure to the crown, it should not be an issue.
