    Eterna Tangaroa questions

    Hello,

Anyone know if the Eterna pictured below has straight or curved spring bars? The lug width is 21, which is enough of a pain!

    Thanks

You could take and bend a 22mm spring bar to achieve 21mm between the lugs. There are special tools just for this.

I buy spring bars in bulk and 21mm are out there for sure. Just be aware that using a curved bar is an aesthetic choice, not a requirement.

    Re: Eterna Tangaroa questions

I had a Raymond Weil that did require a curved bar due to the placement of the holes in the lugs. A straight bar wouldn’t fit because the holes were too close to the case. I don’t want to make that mistake again, too much of a pain to find straps that would work!

    Thanks!

Well, good news! Straight spring bars and 20, not 21mm lug width.
