Ever done a complete 180 on a watch?

Has there ever been a watch you absolutely didn't like, and now want/own?

Or how about a watch you really wanted, but then got over after purchasing?

I used to chuckle when i'd see pictures of reversos online as i thought they looked really ugly. Now having seen one in person and trying it on, I want one!

I thought I would never even consider an Apple Watch. Now, I have a series 3 and love it so far! Vance.

Admittedly, these were brand-based 180s, as opposed to specific model 180s.

Loved the Tudor Black Bay. Bought it. Wore it and the block case design slowly turned me to the piont where I flipped.

on the note of brand-based 180s, i recently did a 180 on grand seiko for sure. at first i couldn't imagine spending that much on a seiko-branded watch (i own a sarb035 along with other higher-end pieces) but after seeing one in person it was incredible.

Uhhh...isn't that the very nature of "flipping"?--you like a watch from a far, you buy it, you come to realize that it doesn't work for you, and you flip it--pretty much a complete 180--from like (enough to buy), to not like (enough to sell)....is there anyone here who has NEVER done this?

    Fitbit Charge 2.
a year ago I was all go fitbit fitness tracker...I haven't touched it in a week now.
Nomos - plain and boring...till I got one
Halios - I saw it as a small local company that had okay watches that cost a lot (till I really looked into it)

Disliked the AP RO, now love mine! Also didn't care for the Rolex brand, now love my BLNR.

I thought I'd never sell my Omega Speedy 9300 but sold it due to it's thickness/weight!

Re: Ever done a complete 180 on a watch?

I owned a Fitbit and didn’t like it at all for many reasons. The look, comfort, and accuracy were disappointments. Tissot with c01.211 movement was massive junk. Both Major letdown.
