Ever feel you are "cheating" on one watch when you wear another?

Just curious if I am the only one that feels guilty at times when I toggle between my favorite watches? Almost as if I was "cheating" on one with the next? Sometimes I find myself dividing the day between them. Half a day with one and the other half with the next. If so, which are your TWO great loves that share your heart... and your wrist?

    Am I crazy?

    Here are mine... Complete opposites!

Complete opposites? I see two black dialed watches that are a little different. I don't get it. This is a pair of complete opposite mechanical watches:

As for cheating, I think there are bigger polygamists here than that!

As they are both black, one is on a leather strap, the other on a rubber one. One is Manual Wind and the other is a Quartz. Need I go on?

With over 30 in my daily wear drawer and north of 170 total, I'm well past cheating. I'm into orgies and group sex....

Does that involve wearing a watch on each arm and each leg?

As was I... and this is the result. It pretty much takes care of the cheating part, too: the Spring Drive just seems too cool to ever not wear!

I don't feel guilty about cheating, but I worry that my watches are getting jealous. They have emotions, after all.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

"Watches tie people to the celestial clockwork... but people have been encouraged by their clocks to ignore the daily and seasonal cycles and to pretend that there is nothing to contend with but metronome-paced linear time. We appear to have caged the sun inside a machine." Michael Young, The Metronomic Society, p. 204
