Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. After getting a hold of both watches, I ended up keeping the B&R BR123. I got it for a very good price - much lower than I expected, plus I was drawn more to its aesthetics than the Sinn 556a's.
This is a tough one, I feel like Sinn will have a better build quality but I definitely like the look of the B&R more.
