Some of their history involves Sinn.

I got a hold of the Sinn 556a and thought the same as you - that the numerals are too big for the dial. The watch wears smaller than 38mm because of this. I ended up getting the B&R. Thanks for your input.

I'll stay neutral as far as choice between the two but for the B&R factor in the cost of a service (with no history I'd assume by default that it's never been serviced) and take it in to an independant within a couple of months if you know a good one near where you live.
I physically got a hold of both watches, and I ended up choosing the B&R. Your comments are spot on - eventhough the thickness is the same, somehow the B&R wore much more thinner and the Sinn looked "lumpy". I also thought that the B&R is more elegant, like you said. I felt the Sinn dial wore much smaller than a 38mm because of the 4 large numerals. The B&R was more balanced. Thanks again for your input.

Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. After getting a hold of both watches, I ended up keeping the B&R BR123. I got it for a very good price - much lower than I expected, plus I was drawn more to its aesthetics than the Sinn 556a's.

This is a tough one, I feel like Sinn will have a better build quality but I definitely like the look of the B&R more.

    Congratulations :)

Can you post a picture of the BnR "in the wild"? Thanks.
