Everything I know I learned from WUS

I found this forum a little over a year ago while shopping for a first mechanical. I knew only that watches held an allure for me, and that there was such a thing called an automatic. In the 14 months since I've learned just a tremendous amount, and have a small collection I'm really happy with. I am drawn (I have learned) to affordable pieces in classic designs with a little bit of history to them, and what you see below is what I've come up with. The other information I've gathered in 14 months is too much to write down, so I'll just say thank you so much to this community. I visit every day, and love it so much.

(Next thing I'll tackle is how to take decent photos.)

A nice thoughtful collection, no fleigler?

Thanks! The Glycine is an "airman" but I agree - a nice WWII-styled flieger from (for instance) Stowa would be a very fine addition.

And I learned about 90% from my dear WUS colleagues and the other watchgeek sites. I got into Sinn's thru WUS. But taking decent photos? I have not learned that yet! So, yes please - a photo lesson is welcome!

Very nice collection Dave. I have learned most of my knowledge here as well. Thanks for posting the pic and learn on.

My mom taught me to be polite... and WUS taught me watches...
I wandered over here less than a year ago searching for a russian watch (I didn't know then it was a Vostok Amphibia).
Since then I visit every day, and have started longing for soooo many watches (from 50 bucks to a year's salary).

Big Up WUS! (and this also echos this thread)
