Question Ex Military Needs help finding a specific watch! Need opinions / recommendations.

Hey there. I just got out of the Army (E5 Sergeant) after five.five years and 2 deployments to Iraq. Nice to be here for the first time!

I'm looking for a specific watch but unfortunately I don't think what I want exists.

First I'll tell you what I'm looking for. Then I'll tell you some watches I have in mind.

Wrist size: 6.8" in I want something that won't look ridiculously large but also not to small on my wrist. I believe 45-48mm would be in my range.

    Want:
    -Chronograph
    -Slide Rule
    -Power Reserve
    -24 Hr display
    -Superluminova hands or similar
    -Tritium
    -Rugged, Durable, Minimal Glare
    -Military / Pilot style
    -PVD / black
-Leather strap (particularly vintage or crocodile style)
    -Semi Skel would be cool
    -Busy faces are a plus
    -Versatile (casual or Dressy)

Basically an old school military analog.

Here's what I am looking at. Price range is sub $500

If it helps I'm not looking for watches similar to the Seiko Monster or Taser commander.....I find them rather distasteful...not my style.

    Citizen
    -SkyHawk A-T Black Eagle
    -Nighthawk PVD version

    Wenger Swiss Raid Commander

    Hamilton Field Khaki Chrono

    Messerschmitt Pilot or Aviator Watch

The pictured one is only 60$ does that seem like an accurate price for a special edition like this? I would buy it immediately if so. I really like the simplicity of this watch.

    Maximillian

    Orient

    CFT00001B

    So what do you think?

TOP 3 as of right now (It's changing as I discover cooler watches)
    -Orient CFT00001B
    -Wenger Swiss raid commando
    -Citizen Nighthawk

I feel the Hamilton is out of my price range unfortunately...

Just double checking, is 5.5" your correct size?

The Messerschmitt Pilot may be nominated for the ugly watch thread.

Haha. I kind of like it. I think it's unique. I would love to own that watch. But it wouldnt be my first choice. I especially enjoy the B-10 and Iron cross ornamentation.

Hamilton. People must be tired of hearing it from me by now, but I have three and they are all dependable as anything.
    TAG Heuer Monaco LE|Omega Speedmaster|Seamaster 300MC|Rolex Submariner|Tudor Ranger

How did it get so late so soon?

So far everyone seems to be pointing towards the hamilton. I haven't gotten any votes for anything else. I do like the hamilton. It appears to be extremely versatile and I have never seen any negative comments made on it.

    How about something different?
    Lacks the 24 hours though...

That is an awesome watch. I love the look of the nato strap. What brand/model? How much did it run you?
