GOT THIS WATCH THE OTHER DAY, SAY "JACQUES LEMANS" GENEVE, "SWISS MADE". OPENED UP THE BACK AND TOOK A PICTURE OF THE MOVEMENT. NO MENTION OF "JACQUES LEMANS" ON MOVEMENT. SAYS "SWISS EOL" AND "RONDA 5 JEWELS" IN VERY VERY SMALL WRITING. ALSO, BATTERY SAYS "SWISS MADE RENATA". IN ANYONE'S OPINION, IS THIS A FAKE JL WATCH OR COULD IT BE AUTHENTIC? ANY INFORMATION WOULD HELP!!! THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND CONSIDERATION!!!

What JDM said, no need to 'yell' with all caps.

Why would you think the watch is a fake? It has a Swiss made quartz movement, a lot of reputable Swiss watch companies source quartz movements from Ronda, not to mention who would fake such a brand? Counterfeiters go after well-known luxury brands.

Also, this is the high-accuracy quartz board, what you bought isn't HAQ so best to move this thread to the Public Forum

It's real. Ronda is a Swiss movement manufacturer, and a 5 jewel quartz movement is fine, as there are few moving parts.

'EOL' stands for 'end of life', a feature of this movement: when the battery needs changing, the second hand will jump every 4 or 5 seconds instead of every second.
