    Favorite three-handed with Roman dial.

I was at the Chicago Tourbillion store today, where an awesome sales guy showed me tons of Glashutte Originals. I really fell in love with the GO Senator Automatic. The super clean dial with Roman numerals was very elegant, and I really like center seconds more than a subdial. The case was great -- good size at 40mm, strong angles but with interesting levels making it not as severe as a Nomos Tangente.

Question is: what else is out there that people like? And what would people recommend in amore affordable range? Say, sub-$3k?

Apologies if this is too broad.

    Oh, and a pic:

I guess this is theoretically a 4 hander (with the date hand), but it's one of favorite watches, is well below $3K ($2250 MSRP, but can be found for much less), has a beautifully finished in-house movement and is just beautiful........Frederique Constant FC-710

At the highest levels, I think Breguet does this kind of watch better than anybody. Others under 3K I like but am not totally sold on are:

Sinn 1736 (hands are weirdly small otherwise it's a great example of German reserve):

Citizen's Exceed AS7070-58A. I'm not convinced about the blue hands and dislike having "Exceed" on the dial...it's like they're trying to hard. Kind of Breguet like though:

I probably lean too Nomos' Ludwig more than the others right now..no need to post, Nomos is pretty well represented around here. Say, if you like that GO, maybe look into finding Seiko's enamel(!) dial 100th anniversary SARX011. It's 40mm size and date window presence/position kill it for me, but it's a great looking watch (the Red "XII" is a nice touch:

With a small second my choice would be the Stowa Marine Original Roman. Plenty of pics on our Offical Jörg Schauer & Stowa Forum.
    Kind regards

I'm not a huge Roman numerals fan, but I do remember my brother in law had a really cool Tissot Le Locle, it had a white guilloche dial and black hands and numerals... I'll see if I can find a pic
    Cheers,
