    A few things...

Saw a Raymond Weil at TJMaxx last night. The salesperson was too engaged in personal type conversations with someone, and I decided to walk out. Went back today and saw the watch. It was $2499.99. Oopha.

They sold the GV2 they had there for $599. It was a nice one. They also sold the ellesse' we'd returned.

I saw a Bulova at Kohls that was nice. 30% off sale had it down to $175. It was much like the movado I'd taken a liking to, in that it was a stainless bracelet with a nice narrow rectangle case with a curve to it. The Bulova was almost too dainty, and it had a blueish face. I prefer black.

And now for something completely different: I like my Fortis spacematic. Not sure why I'm even continuing to look at watches. Anyway... is there a potential for damage if you do something like say, play the drums, with an automatic watch on?

I would venture to say that playing the drums with a auto on is going to be a pretty rough beating on the watch. I personally wouldnt.

The GV2 probably has the worst clasp out there. Pure junk!

That's a surprise. How does the First Generation clasp compare to the GV2?
I was wondering about my choice of the strap model, but maybe I made the right choice.
