Cool Finally a real dresswatch, a JLC Master Control (my 2nd JLC) !

    Dear all,

As witnessed by the topic matter, I finally purchased a REAL dresswatch, a preloved 2009 JLC Master Control:

As you can probably gather from my signature, I have a strong preference for watches with complications (especially chronographs) and 'busy' watches, but I followed up on my fellow WIS' advice to opt for a simple, clean piece as a dresswatch.

Powered by an in-house JLC movement (899) and featuring a transparent case back, it's a very nice piece imho, and definitely a keeper!

Will post better pics soon (will make a JLC family photo as soon as my MC Chronograph gets back from JLC service center).

    Thanks for looking.

    BR,

    Pieter

Congratulations! There seems to be a glut of JLC Master Control autos and ultra thins lately

A beautiful and classy watch for sure.

These watches are solid. Looks great in stainless. You likely can use it as a daily wearer, I prefer simple watches for daily wear versus complicated faces where you have to struggle to tell the time and date.

    Congrats on a beautiful piece!

I'm looking into my second JLC and might be considering something on the dressier end also, but the lure of their divers is pretty strong.

This is one of my favorite models (I liked its MC Grande Taille predecessor too). I am rather fond of clean classic elegant three handers with date. Despite its simplicity, i think this watch has understated presence on the wrist. Congratulations!
