    Finding replacement hairspring

I'm new to all this so please excuse my ignorance. I am looking for a replacement hairspring for a watch mechanism, it's a Rone 877 17 jewel, it also has f555131 and VB written on the mechanism if that helps. I have no idea how I would go about finding one. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello and welcome. You may want to ask in the Watchmaking subforum. The regulars there may have good ideas.

    Re: Finding replacement hairspring

I looked but could not find a reference to a Rone movement in the Ranfft database. Presumably it was made by one of the major movement makers like AS, Peseux, FHF, etc.

Call a watch parts house like Ofrei. If you are planing to replace the spring have you done it before? If not one slip can turn it into a birds nest.
