I say go with the PAM in this case... it's got the most zing for a first watch by a mile. The others are so... safe.

    Collection:
RGM 801A - Montblanc Twinfly Flyback Chronograph -
Omega AquaTerra GMT - 1972 Heuer Autavia Viceroy - Ball Engineer Master II Diver World Time
JeanRichard Terrascope - Longines Legend Diver(Date) - Luminox 6250 - Hamilton Intra-Matic(42mm) - Magrette Moana Pacific Professional - Oris XXL Pointer Day

A funny thing bugs me about Montblancs. "Thirty-six (36) jewels." "Adj. five (5) pos." That irritates me in general writing, and I'm not going to have it on my watch.

That's how most of the swiss movement maker marks their movement btw :)

Out of the three, get the PAM first, it's a great everyday watch.

I have a equal love for the Rolex DJ but the 41mm DJ is NOT for everyone, a lot of purist complaints about the distortion of the DJ oyster case

That's one of few Rolexes that I actually like. Do it!

I'd go for the Datejust. It is a WIS classic, it is the most versatile of the three, and it arguably is the best value given its in-house movement and relatively high resale value compared to the other two.

why not buy used, for the price of a new PAM you can pick one up in the market place -3-4k and then with the remaining get a datejust 2 -.-

Out of those 3 I'd go with the panerai.

If it was me I'd go with the DJ as well. Of course it finally depends on what kind of consulting you do and whether the type of watch you wear should make an impact or not, the PAM will definitely get noticed but may leave heads scratching where as the Rolex is a much more easily recognised watch.

Full agree. I think the Montblanc is a very nice looking chrono you could easily wear on all your activities. I would take it off during the hockey match though, but that goes for the other two, too.

Get the Pam if you wear leisure suits, gold chains and ride a Vespa. If you are a classy business man or professional(not wrestler)
    get the Date Just.
