first brietling

i recently purchased my first breiting. crosswind. silver with some gold on the black face. i love the watch. the band is maybe my favorite part. in the sun it shines so nicely. however im afraid to really wear the watch. i wear it out, i wear it with my suit . but im always conscious of it. i dont want it to lose it shine or bright look. is this stupid? maybe i should ask, if i wear this watch every day, shower , swimming etc will it lose its brightness? i almost want to buy something to clean it periodically to keep it new looking?

any one understand what i am saying? or can any one re inforce that the watch can be worn and will not lose the look it has and that i do not need to buy a watch cleaner or something.

Is that a Crosswind 661? It looks like one but the numbers on the sub-dials don't look right to me...Did you buy from an AD?

Anyway, back to your question. Just my opinion of course, but I am not sure why anyone would buy a watch they were afraid to wear. Is it going to get dinged up and loose luster over time? Yeah, it probably will. Just wear it and enjoy it, don't worry about it!

One last thing though, it is B-r-e-i-t-l-i-n-g :oops:.

You obviously want to keep it looking nice.
I'd get a "beater" to wear most of the time and save wear and tear on the Breitling.

Breitling Crosswind Model #- B13055 -B241. i bought it from an authorized dealer in manhattan. however its second hand. they dont make these type models anymore....
