    First Four Figure Watch

My fiancée wants to buy me a watch before our wedding. Part of me wants something dressy for the occasion, but I think it's important to have something I will want to wear in all situations.

This won't be a watch that will get flipped so resale isn't a concern. I do appreciate value though. I'm 28 so I still want sporty. Budget is roughly $3500. I'm not opposed to grey market but likely will buy from an AD.

Here are the four I'm considering now. Please let me know what you think of these but feel free to throw in other suggestions. Thanks in advance!

I own a Ducati, so the Tudor/Duc partnership is intriguing to me.

I don't like the looks of any of those Tudors. I would go for the Breitling on a leather strap. This is the only Breitling I like.

    Great fiancée.

You're getting married so that bike is as good as gone so dont let that be a driving factor (you say it wont happen to you but it will). Of those 4 I like the SOH, classy and sporty at the same time. That looks to be the 46mm version, make sure your wrists are up to it. Oh yeah, congrats on getting hitched, the best of luck!

In my view the Grantour is the pick of the bunch for versatility. Very clean and classy but maintains a sporty vibe. But all are fine watches, choose the one that speaks to you most. Be aware that chronographs cost significantly more to service.

    I second this.
Not really a fan of Tudor but if you're gonna do it, do it right and get the Black Bay.

Yes! Black Bay is The flagship of modern day Tudors IMO and the closest to a future classic out of the lineup. Classic and timeless design are what you want when dropping serious money on a watch for the first time.

I absolutely love the Black Bay, but she does not like it quite as much. I could probably sell her on the BB Blue but I much prefer the red bezel.

I could likely only go Omega preowned, which isn't a deal breaker. I checked out an AT and SMP yesterday, and they were gorgeous.

Of the models that you posted I like the Breitling the best, just my opinion. With 200m it will be safe in the water with a metal band.
