Hello all. I took a risk on a Tissot T Touch II I found on craigslist. The seller wanted 150, but the battery was run down so I got him talked down to 80. The whole time I was nervous, as I know how many fakes there are out there. Well the seller sent me lots of pictures, box, paperwork, etc etc. Promised to refund money if it turned out to be fake and since I had his personal number and a copy of his ID, I took his word for it.
So I get it home, put it on my desk to take apart to change the battery. Open it up and so far everything looks authentic (from the tutorials on here) and also why I asked earlier how to clean the sensor unit as it is dusty and very dirty. Put the battery in, screwed everything together, pressed the button and it came to life.
A fully functional T Touch II for 80 bucks. Couldnt believe it. I just had to order a new band, got orange, as the previous owner was tiny.
