    First "proper" watch

First post from a longtime forum stalker. I find myself considering my first "proper" watch.

Currently have a Seiko SNL003P1 (bought in 2004 and still going strong as an occasional wearer; consider "semi-proper"), a TW Steel TW621 (fashion watch but love the quality, made sense at a GBP150 price point, though the more expensive models make less sense to me) and a GShock GW7900.

Am drawn between an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean and the Sinn Frankfurt Financial Centre chrono. Love the look of the former, and fact my dad has treasured his Omega for over two decades. I love the aesthetics of the Sinn as well as it's more leftfield appeal; impressing non-WIS folk is not an especially high priority.

Apples and pears if you ask me. Both are serving different needs. The Sinn Finanzplatz can't be used for diving, the Omega can't be used for timerkeeping and stopping. You can't go wrong with either but you should know what you really want or need.
    Kind regards
