High Accuracy Quartz is interesting, and trending upward in a big way.

This is a bit out of my reach, but I am expecting to buy either a chronomasters, eco drive one, or 9F powered Grand Seiko by year end.

Citizen owns Bulova who make the 16 beat per second smooth sweep. They need to combine solar tech with HAQ with smooth sweeps.

Don't they know sports watches are in right now and generic-lookin' dress watches aren't as desired?

New age tech in an old man design. Could it be more bland?

You mean they should make one perfect HAQ watch instead of putting out multiple reiteration of basically the same thing with incremental improvement so that they can suck our dry wallet drier?! What blasphemy!

But honestly I'm pretty impressed by what they achieve with the 0100

Kind of disagree. No objections to a more accurate sweep movement as a separate category, but I feel a watch that is the pinnacle of quartz accuracy should remain dead-beat to be true to its super-quartzy nature.

I can get dead on accuracy from a 100.00 radio controlled G-Shock.
