    Flashiest watch?

Just wondering your opinions on what the flashiest watch is, obviously its entirely subjective. Not necessarily talking blinged out bezels or diamond bracelets, kind of just the most eye catching watch directly from the factory. As OP, I'll go first and throw out the BLNR as a possibility. It's Rolex, which everybody WIS and not knows, and the blue and black bezel is something I can recognize from across the room. I think its the perfect mix of brand recognition with a little bulkiness and color to be a flashy eye catcher. Disclaimer that I don't think anybody should buy a watch just to impress or catch the eye of others, just starting the thread for fun conversation purposes.

A Royal Oak is far flashier in the flesh than a BLNR IMO.

    It's orange. People notice it.

To us WIS I can absolutely agree with that, but in a room full of 100 random people I can see the BLNR getting more attention solely because the vast majority of the population knows what a Rolex is and may be unaware of AP in general. Good point though, to each his own

Flashy is not the same as easily recognised IMO.

One will draw attention without people knowing the brand. One will be known once people spot it.

    Re: Flashiest watch?

For me, a flashy watch would be something unusually shiny, comically over/under sized, or a bright color.
I recognized a Casio waiting in a drive-thru line because the strap and case were bright white and under a clear sky at noon.
It was practically glowing and screaming for attention. This was two cars in front of me.

Am I alone in not being able to confidently recognize a Rolex unless its close enough to read the logo on the dial?
