I try to refrain from degrading a watch but that has to be among the top 5 ugliest watches I've ever seen. I wouldn't wear it even if I got it as a gift. My apologies if I have offended anyone.

I was a BIG fan of Formex for a long while. Had 4 different models including the AS1500 auto and the MONSTEROUS DS2000 LE Diver. Both very large, hunky chunky watches. If your into the Gnarly, Funky Chunky stuff like me then this would be appealing.

However this particular model does leave it up in the air...."What time IS it?

997, is it like in "Porsche 911 type 997" ?
I am not sure Porsche would aprove! Way, way to busy watch!
I hate today's fad to make watches with all sorts of protrusions, angles, surface treatment, mix of materials, colours etc., all in one watch!
Not only this example, even "upper" manufacturers do it now...
I guess I am getting old!

I'm sure certain watches appeal to certain people. I've never liked breitling because of the busy dial. That Formex makes Breitling watches look normal.

Yes, that's a pretty busy dial; you can look at it and ask, WHAT was it I wanted to do?

I couldn't possibly read the time on that dial! It might be well-made but it pole vaults over the ugly bar!
