    Forum newbie!

    Hi folks,

As the title suggests I'm a newbie here as this is my first watch forum but Im a member of many other hobby forums which go from Radio Controlled cars/planes/multi-rotors and freefall skydivers and many others to boot.

In my collection thus far I have my favorite watch which is my Omega Seamaster Professional Quartz James Bond style, my most recent is my Rolex Submariner date (which I have wanted since I was about 8 years old!!! I'm now 35) which I find hard to take off my wrist as I just love it! I also have a vintage Tag Heuer 24k gold Automatic, a Tag Heuer Formula 1 white face non-chrono, a Festina Cycling which my cousin in France gave me and I've recently restored a Casio ALT-6100 from 1993.

My next purchase will be the Omega Speedmaster Moon-watch as I'm absolutely inlove with them!

I live in Sydney Australia just thought I would pop in to say G'day to all before I start posting and reading!!

    Cheers,

    Alan.

Welcome to the forum Alan! A Submariner and a Speedy Pro will make for a very versatile core to your collection.

Agreed, I'm a n00b as well and have learned tons from this forum. Get ready to see lots of things that will tempt you to empty your wallet! Though if you go for a Speedy Pro, you won't regret it, I have one and love it.
