hi i found this watch in my fathers drawers and wanted to ask you if its fake or not.

The steel somehow feels "cheap" when you touch it.

many thanks in advance:-!

Congratulations I would say you have found an 80's fake of a Cartier , even the printed "Cartier " is on the p!55 and the gold accents on the strap stop on the upper side only. If it feels cheap its because it probably is , even the cheaper must de Cartier was of reasonable quality in the day....

I wouldn't have dumped it in the trash. I've always had the urge to smash a fake with a hammer, but since I never buy fakes I've never had toe opportunity to do so. I think you should smash it with a hammer and take pictures of it with the new and improved look. It would be a fitting end to that piece of trash watch.

But fit a battery first. It may work!

Fakes of this age can be excused..
