    Gevril GV2 4705

Hi! I just bought this (slightly) used Gevril GV2 4705. According to the seller it has a 7750 movement, but can anyone confirm that? I added a photo; also emailed Gevril about the specs but didn't get a reply (yet).

Yes, that's a GV2, how much did you pay for it?

I know 🙂. About 700 USD. I like it but it may have been a bit much considering the less than perfect state it’s in.

When I was selling them, about 13 years ago, I was pretty sure they were made only for the secondary market. The rumor at the time was they were made by
Samuel Friedmann's brother, the head of Gevrll.

Do you know which movement is in this one? Is it a 7750?

Just got a reply from Gevril: yes, it's a 7750, and original retail price (in 2004/5) was USD 3795 :) Can't imagine anyone every paid that for it, though? Seems a bit high.
