    Glycine Combat 6

I just posted these pics on the Glycine forum. But as someone just recently introduced to Glycine I felt the company deserves a plug on the main forum.

Its really a nice watch with history and should get more love.

Mine a blue combat 6 36mm on a catalyst leatherworks band.

Very nice. Good looking and versatile. I like the strap too.

I think the brand used to get a lot more respect before A) Invicta purchased them and ... B) they sold off a lot of stock at huge discounts through their outlet on EBay and other online venues.

Personally I love my only Glycine and think it was a grand bargain for what I paid. Fit and fnish, durability, and smoothness of operation it is one of the nicest watches I own actually ...

I only discovered the virtues of Glycine watches when the online seller called glycine-direct started selling the brand at realistic prices and I picked up 4 of them, plus one from a Costco store, via a great WUS member who helped me out, as I don’t have a Costco brick and mortar near me.

Like their Swiss cousin brands Alpina, Eterna and Hamilton, whose MSRP are also silly high, I will grab them when nicely discounted.

Coincidentally all 4 of these brands build watches with Very long hands, which I appreciate immensely. Look at that sweep^^^^!! Almost out to the rehaut!

Seriously tho, has there been a poll to guess how many watches you own?
    No?
    Should we do one?
    A. 20 -50
    B. 51-99
    D. 100-200
    E. 201 - 999

    My vote? E . !!!

Oh man ! I been looking at this for some time now.... thinking ("git it! git it! git it!")... then, my wife finds me in a mesmerized stupor staring at the screen, and whacks me upside dee head: "Da heyullz wrong witchu, boa? Git back to work!"
And so I do, and a few more weeks go by, without being further molested by this temptation.
Then, I see it again, like this.... with sexy lighting, n all...

I have 2 Glycine watches...the Combat Sub from Costco and the Combat 6 from Glycine Direct. Both keep great time (2-3 seconds per day) straight out of the box.
